About the Role

As an Accounts Executive, you will be responsible for managing full sets of accounts and supporting month-end closing activities. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and smooth day-to-day finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle full set of accounts, including month-end closing and preparation of monthly management reports.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of accounts in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare reconciliation schedules and ensure accuracy of financial records.
  • Prepare payment vouchers, debit notes, credit notes, and journal entries for review and verification.
  • Monitor cash flow, maintain cash books, and ensure timely updates.
  • Maintain proper accounting documentation, records, and filing systems for audit purposes.
  • Liaise with auditors, company secretary, bankers, suppliers, and relevant authorities on finance-related matters.
  • Support superiors in managing, organizing, and allocating month-end tasks.
  • Handle urgent finance-related requests and ad-hoc assignments as required.

What We're Looking For

  • Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, IF functions).
  • Good communication skills in English; Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage due to business needs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail, good planning and coordination skills.
  • A proactive team player with good problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
