Are you a young financial professional who wants to upgrade your skills in an international
organisation doing business in over 40 countries
What will you be doing
- Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Handle correspondence with suppliers, customers, authorities/3rd parties
- Ensuring timely closing of monthly accounts
- Perform bank/credit card reconciliation on a monthly basis
- Any ad-hoc financial/ admin tasks as assigned by management
Account Receivable
- Assist in daily operations processes such as issuing invoices / bills to customers
- Reconcile payment received against outstanding invoice
- Send out payment reminders and follow-up for pending payments
- Ensure payments received are timely updated
- Liaise and follow up with the Marketing team for collecting issues
- Cross-check settlement reports against invoicing and payment received
- Update bank statement on a weekly basis
Account Payable
- Assist in daily operations processes such as processing the suppliers invoices and dealing with
supplier queries
- Assist in preparing payments and updating bank transactions on weekly batches.
- Monitor, identify, resolve and clarify issues related to Account Payable matters
- Liaise and follow up with the Marketing team for payment issues
- Preparation of journals and intercompany journal transactions.
- Process staff claims
Your Skills And Qualifications
- You must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Finance/ Accountancy/ Banking, or equivalent,
with 1 2 years of experience in the accounting field.
- You are fluent, speaking and writing, in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- You have strong accounting knowledge and are willing to learn more
- You are comfortable working with Microsoft Office applications, mostly Word & Excel
- You are familiar with accounting software. It would be an added advantage if you have
experience using the NetSuite / Oracle accounting system.
- You have experience with various (international) internet banking applications
