Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to support the financial operations of the company during its initial setup phase. The role will be responsible for establishing and maintaining proper accounting records, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting day-to-day financial activities. This is a full-time, on-site role, based in Subang Jaya.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL)
  • Handle daily accounting operations such as invoicing, payments, receipts, and journal entries
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial transactions
  • Assist in budgeting, cash flow management, and financial forecasting
  • Ensure timely submission of statutory payments (e.g. EPF, SOCSO, EIS, SST if applicable)
  • Liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory authorities
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records
  • Support internal controls and improve accounting processes as the company grows
  • Assist in any ad-hoc financial or administrative tasks as required

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 13 years of relevant working experience (fresh graduates with strong fundamentals may be considered)
  • Knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and statutory requirements
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, start-up environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
