Job Description
- Collaborate closely with category managers in Singapore to manage and grow merchant partnerships, delivering strong value propositions and driving the adoption of best practices.
- Strategically grow merchant revenue through a consultative approach, leveraging a mix of channels and methods, and translating data into actionable insights.
- Lead revenue growth and cost optimization initiatives in collaboration with merchants, identifying and executing win-win solutions across categories.
- Own and manage a strong pipeline of merchant retention, ensuring consistent delivery of success metrics and key milestones.
- Partner with the marketing team to develop and execute merchant-driven initiatives, including events, thematic campaigns, social media activations, and innovative engagement strategies.
- Conduct regular performance reviews with merchants to drive campaign participation, optimize commercial outcomes, and identify opportunities for growth.
- Foster and strengthen merchant relationships through consistent engagement, delivering a high standard of service with a customer-centric approach.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and merchant partners to support long-term collaboration and success.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years in Account Management, Client Success, Business Development or Partner Management - experience ideally in an e-commerce, financial services, or payments space
- An established network in the retail industry is a plus
- Demonstrated track record in building and nurturing relationships at all levels
- Possess a growth mindset and understand how to collaborate with the Account Management Team and cross-functional teams to achieve goals
- Strong commercial acumen - ability to analyze and interpret data for discussion with merchants
- Obsessed about understanding your merchant's needs in developing their business and becoming a true business partner for your merchants
- A curious nature and you enjoy developing solutions to new problems
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to work fast and smart independently
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
