Account Management Specialist

What You'll Do

• Manage a portfolio of key accounts across various categories to build strong, lasting merchant relationships.
• Drive growth by pitching marketing campaigns, upselling PayLater by Grab, Loyalty products, and other new features.
• Conduct Monthly Business Reviews (MBR) with key merchants to identify opportunities, enhance performance, and strengthen collaboration.
• Troubleshoot merchant-related issues such as settlement reports and technical matters, providing effective solutions.
• Analyze merchant and market data to develop initiatives that increase revenue and profitability aligned with country targets.
• Research competitor insights to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats for targeted category management.
• Support with GrabPay and Loyalty inquiries from merchants outside the managed portfolio.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 1 year of experience in account management, merchant management, sales, business development, partnerships, or a related client-facing role.
• Experience in the e-wallet/payment or financial services industry is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin or other dialects is an advantage).
• Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to tailor solutions to different merchant needs.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Marketing, Strategy, Grab Support, Product, Tech).
• Highly organized, independent, and a strong team player.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
