Senior Sales Executive / Account Manager
Location: Johor Bahru, Malaysia
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Growth
- Market and sell steel stiffeners to property developers, main contractors, and subcontractors
- Explore and secure new customer accounts and project opportunities, particularly in Johor
- Engage consultants and project stakeholders to ensure products are specified in upcoming projects
Commercial & Client Management
- Prepare quotations, tender submissions, and sales proposals, and follow up effectively
- Build and sustain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction
- Conduct regular site visits and meetings to understand project needs and provide technical/commercial support
- Address and resolve customer concerns promptly in coordination with internal teams
Market & Reporting
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and industry trends
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline analysis to management
- Manage and update project opportunities through CRM or internal sales tracking systems
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Marketing (Hons), Architecture, or related disciplines
- Minimum 35 years experience in sales or business development within the construction products industry
