The purpose of the Account Manager - GLC role is to ensure and drive the penetration of Key Accounts and their strategic development.
Your responsibilities will include:
Up selling strategies & executions
Revenue management strategies & maintenance
Drive profitable revenue contribution and increased market share for telecommunications converged services and solution offerings.
What are you accountable for
The GLC Account manager is a Maxis sales professional and corporate business consultant with functionalities to establish and grow relationship with our GLC clients, enhance engagement, establish account planning, develop business & sales plan to close deals & achieve sales target.
GLC Account Manager required to manage a set of GLC accounts, responsible for differentiated customer services and for sales/incremental revenue/collections. Collaborate with internal teams, manage partners for most competitive value propositions.
Managing the entire sales cycle for government accounts from lead generation to closure. This means nurturing prospects, coordinating demos and trials, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
CRM management: To register & qualify opportunities, ensure healthy funnels, consult supervisor & share deals progress, plan & execute sales initiatives.
Building account plan and deals roadmap, ensure the cadence of pipelines, funnel & forecast.
Proposal & presentation for deal forum, pricing forum, Investment forum & business review.
What do you need for the role
Tertiary education in relevant field of study
With a total of 5 - 7 years of progressive experience in government sales preferably within the industry of ICT/Technology/Telecommunication.
Existing relationships with federal government accounts preferred.
Strong communications skills, PR skills, strategic skills, execution skills, charismatic skills and general skills.
Dynamic builder of relationships with key customers and operations.
Personal traits: Positive, Passionate, Collaborative, simple, trustworthy, creative, brave.
Pleasant personality with commendable attitude.
A self-starter, proactive, committed, disciplined, energetic, team player with leadership qualities.
Able to perform under pressure in a challenging environment
