The Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing customer relationships across the Central Southeast Asia region, ensuring customer satisfaction, account profitability, and achievement of revenue targets. This role serves as the primary commercial and technical interface between customers and NOV ReedHycalog, driving business development opportunities and delivering value-added drilling solutions.

The incumbent will manage the full sales cycle, including opportunity identification, tender participation, proposal development, contract negotiation, purchase order acquisition, product delivery coordination, invoicing, and accounts receivable collection.

The role supports the Premium Drill Bits, Borehole Enlargement, and Coring Services product lines and requires close collaboration with customers, operations, engineering, and other internal stakeholders across multiple countries.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer accounts to ensure long-term business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities for ReedHycalog products and services.
  • Develop account plans and sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability objectives.
  • Monitor market conditions, customer activities, and competitive developments to identify growth opportunities.
  • Manage the complete sales process from lead generation through order fulfillment and payment collection.
  • Prepare and deliver technical and commercial presentations to customers.
  • Participate in tenders, bids, and contract negotiations.
  • Develop technical proposals, tender submissions, commercial quotations, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of products and services.
  • Maintain accurate operational and financial records for the assigned area.
  • Work closely with Sales, Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to deliver customer solutions.
  • Support regional business initiatives and strategic growth objectives.
  • Travel domestically and internationally, including occasional visits to drilling rig and wellsite locations.
  • Conduct all business activities in accordance with NOV policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Experience in drilling operations, drilling tools, or drilling services is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in technical sales, account management, or business development.
  • Strong understanding of drilling operations and related technologies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in multicultural and geographically dispersed environments.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and customer focus.
  • Willingness to travel and provide operational support when required.
