Here Is What The Job Entails

As our Account Manager, you will help drive sales and business development across Kamstrup's full metering portfolio, including smart water metering solutions for utilities as well as ultrasonic energy, cooling and sub metering solutions for data centres, district cooling and manufacturing. — smart water metering for utilities and ultrasonic energy, cooling and sub-metering solutions for Data Centres, District Cooling and manufacturing. You will build pipeline, support high-value deals, and work closely with partners, consultants and customers to grow Kamstrup's presence across APAC.

More specifically, you will be:

  • Generating sales and building a strong pipeline across Kamstrup's metering portfolio in Malaysia and selected APAC markets
  • Supporting business development by identifying and qualifying new opportunities, partners and accounts while helping the execution of go-to-market initiatives
  • Managing the project pipeline from qualification to closure, and supporting senior colleagues on larger and more complex deals
  • Supporting distributor, system integrator and consultant engagement through joint customer visits, opportunity qualification and driving market penetration
  • Preparing and delivering solution presentations to customers, consultants and partners

Meet your future team

Reporting to the Country Manager - APAC, you will join a close-knit team of five colleagues based at our Kuala Lumpur office. The team is responsible for driving sales and developing new business across APAC, working closely with end-customers, consultants, distributors and system integrators to position Kamstrup's solutions in the market. Grounded on strong mutual support and a flat structure, we foster a collaborative and dynamic atmosphere where teamwork, knowledge sharing, and real ownership are key to our success.

Less About Us, More About You

We are looking for an Account Manager who combines technical understanding with strong sales capabilities. You thrive in a regional role across diverse markets and stakeholders with the ambition to unlock new business opportunities in APAC.

In order to succeed we imagine that you:

  • Bring 3–5 years of sales or business development experience within water, metering, utilities, HVAC and cooling, infrastructure or software solutions. Experience with water or cooling metering is considered an asset.
  • Have the ability to drive a structured sales approach, think strategically to build pipeline and results, and effectively manage and push distributor and partner performance
  • Are familiar with solution selling and possess strong negotiation skills and commercial awareness
  • Take a proactive and self-driven approach, enabling you to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Copilot and the use of AI tools to support pipeline management, forecasting and sales productivity

As we are an international organization, it is a requirement that you are fluent in English. Mandarin is a plus.
