Responsibilities

Merchant Relationship & Performance Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with a portfolio of strategic merchant partners, acting as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each merchants business goals, challenges, and success metrics to offer tailored solutions and services.
  • Act as the primary point of contact to support merchant growth, satisfaction, and performance.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to co-develop comprehensive partnership plans aligned with lifecycle and commercial goals.
  • Support new merchant onboarding and act as a strategic growth partner post-acquisition - including discuss strategic opportunities, and address business challenges.

Campaign Strategy & Execution

  • Collaborate with various team on online/offline campaigns aligned with lifecycle goals.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure merchants are included in relevant platform campaigns, loyalty programs, and seasonal pushes.
  • Coordinate end-to-end campaign execution with merchants, including briefing, asset collection, and timeline management.
  • Ensure seamless campaign integration by aligning campaign timing, messaging, and target segments.
  • Monitor campaign results, share performance insights with internal teams and merchants, and recommend data-driven improvements.

Business Growth & Problem Solving

  • Analyze merchant KPIs including GMV, transaction volume, conversion rate, and user acquisition to identify trends and risks.
  • Identify opportunities to expand Atomes solutions within existing accounts including marketing integrations, loyalty tie-ins, or feature adoption.
  • Support merchant commercial discussions (e.g., transaction fees, marketing support) with data-backed recommendations.
  • Navigate and resolve merchant issues or escalations with professionalism and urgency.
  • Proactively recommend strategies to improve merchant performance and maximize their ROI on the Atome platform.
  • Track merchant sales performance regularly and identify opportunities for reactivation or upselling.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Represent the merchant voice across teams working with Marketing Operations, BI, etc.
  • Share merchant insights with Marketing and operations to inform campaign planning and product roadmaps.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Account Management, Business Development, or Partner Management, preferably in e-commerce, fintech, or payments.
  • Growth mindset with a results-oriented approach and a focus on achieving KPIs and driving business growth.
  • Strong merchant & customer-centric mindset and ability to deliver client satisfaction at scale.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, & interpersonal skills across levels of stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills; able to translate data into actionable.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in English is required; Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin is a strong advantage due to regional coverage.
