Job responsibilities may include:
- Receiving invoices and entering the data into systems.
- Ensuring the invoice matches the purchase order, goods received, and/or services rendered, and that the amounts, quantities, and other details are correct.
- Investigating and resolving any discrepancies found between the invoice and supporting documentation.
- Keeping accurate records of all invoices, payments, and related documentation.
- Reconciling vendor statements and resolving any outstanding issues.
- Identifying and following up on overdue invoices to ensure timely payment.
- Process outgoing payment in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Responding to customer queries and resolving issues.
- Liaise with internal and external customer/stakeholders to ensure contractual obligations are achieved and agreed service standards are met.
Skills and Qualifications:
- While 1-2 years of experience in accounting / finance preferred, we are open to recent graduates with a relevant Finance or Accounting internship background to apply.
- Strong attention to details is essential for verifying invoice accuracy and identifying discrepancies.
- Good organizational skills is important for managing high volumes of invoices and maintaining accurate records.
- Effective communication skills for interacting and collaborating with vendors and internal teams.
- Understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in MS office application and good English communication (both Written and verbal).
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
