What your typical day will look like:

As an Accounts Receivable Executive, you will support the day-to-day Accounts Receivable operations, ensuring invoices and billings are processed accurately and on time. You will work closely with internal teams and clients to resolve billing and account-related queries, maintain accurate financial records, and support timely collection of outstanding payments.

Your day-to-day work will involve preparing and processing invoices, monitoring outstanding balances, performing account reconciliations, following up on payments, and supporting month-end closing activities. With strong attention to detail and a proactive approach, you will help ensure smooth and efficient AR operations while maintaining compliance with finance policies and processes.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Process and issue customer invoices accurately and within agreed timelines, ensuring billing information is complete and aligned with supporting documentation.
  • Monitor accounts receivable balances, follow up on outstanding payments, and support collection activities to ensure timely settlement of customer accounts.
  • Review billing and financial records, investigate discrepancies, and work with internal stakeholders and clients to resolve billing and account-related queries.
  • Perform regular account reconciliations and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including preparing relevant reports and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate AR records and support process improvements, finance reporting, audit requirements, and other operational activities as required.

A bit about you:

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with 1–2 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable, finance operations, or a similar role.
  • Good understanding of Accounts Receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, account reconciliation, and basic month-end activities.
  • Strong attention to detail with good numerical and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, clients, and other external parties to resolve billing and payment matters.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with ERP or finance systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics, media systems such as PIN, or similar platforms would be an advantage.
  • Proactive, organised, and willing to learn, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to read, write, and speak Mandarin would be an added advantage, as the role will work with Chinese-speaking markets and vendors.
