Job Description

Primary Objective

  • Manage the business development plan for assigned Corporate Loan Portfolio.
  • Build a wide client network and initiate prospects and assess opportunities/needs for an assigned portfolio of corporate relationship and new clients/accounts.
  • Getting to know the Corporate Market development for assigned Corporate Loan Portfolio
  • Cross-selling of Bank and other RHB Group's products.
  • Proactively manage loan portfolio and protect loan quality

Key Responsibilities

Scope & Complexity

  • Manage & service existing relationships for the assigned corporate loan portfolio of less complexity and smaller in size.
  • Increase depth of relationship and manage customers needs to achieve an acceptable level of RAROC in line with agreed business plan
  • Develop and acquire new relationships.
  • Timely periodic review of the assigned portfolio.
  • Undertake timely assessment on any relevant adverse market news and/or unsatisfactory account conduct , which may affect the credit profile of the borrowers

Leadership

  • Managing the inter-divisional relationships to assist in delivering good customer service.

Problem-Solving

  • Delivers excellent service standard and trouble shoots problems & complaints from clients.

Interpersonal Skills

  • First-to-know with regards to corporate market development by maintaining regular customer visitation/contacts.
  • Participate in account planning with Client Coverage Team and collaborate with other product partners where appropriate
  • Group Corporate Banking s liaison officer for the assigned portfolio for all cross-sell contacts and external parties.

Others

  • Cross-referral to other product partners across the RHB Group
