Account Specialist

Position: Account Specialist
Salary: Open based on candidates experience
Location: Medini, Iskandar Puteri
Working hours: 8:30am - 5:45pm (Mon - Fri)

Job Responsibilities:

.Handle the full set of accounts and perform month-end closing, providing financial reports to management for decision-making

.To perform day to day Finance/Accounting operations

.Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies

1.Major Activities:

.Prepare month-end closing and ensure accurate financial reporting

.Preparation of monthly management reports

.Monitoring of cash flow and preparation of cash flow report

.Verify and match vendor invoices

.Fixed Assets Management

.Preparation and processing of vendors payment & reimbursement

.To liaise with vendors and respond to inquiries

.Assist in preparing the annual budget and quarterly/monthly operating analysis

.Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation & explanations

.To undertake other assignment from Management.

2.Time Management

.Good coordination and proper task allocation to meet reporting deadlines given

3.Document Control and Information Confidentiality

.Control and maintain good custody over accounting documents

.Keeping sufficient records per local regulations

.All internal information related to payroll, profitability etc is confidential and care must be taken to maintain confidentiality

Qualifications:

.Minimum 3-4 years of accounting knowledge

.Basic operation and accounting system application

.Accuracy and meticulous

.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Words, Excel, Power point)

.Proficient in English & Malay

.Able to adapt to a fast pace environment

.Deadline oriented: Exhibit the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to details

.Good interpersonal and communication skills

.Freight forwarding experience and proficient in Mandarin will be an added advantage
