Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role, based in WP. Kuala Lumpur, for an Accountant. The responsibilities include managing financial records, preparing accurate financial reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring adherence to financial regulations. The Accountant will oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, account analysis, and tax filings while maintaining the company's financial integrity. Cross-functional collaboration with internal teams will also be key to overseeing internal audits and identifying efficient financial practices.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in financial accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Strong skills in reconciliations, account analysis, and tax preparation
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) and spreadsheets
- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Effective organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams and maintain confidentiality
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification such as CPA is a plus
- Prior experience in corporate accounting is advantageous
