Job Description

Key responsibilities

Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Maintain full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL and Fixed assets.
Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in the accounting system
Reconcile accounts and identify and resolve discrepancies
Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
Provide financial and analytical support to management
Comply with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and controls

Requirements

Degree in Accounting or a related field
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in financial accounting and reporting in a construction industry
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards
Proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications
Ability to work accurately under pressure
Good communication and interpersonal skills
