Description
- Manage month-end closing process ensuring compliance with local GAAP and corporate policies.
- Prepare timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, year-end deliverable, and ad-hoc requests.
- Handle journal entries, account reconciliations, payroll postings, and reserve account management.
- Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary, and bankers.
- Conduct financial data analysis to improve business performance and cost efficiency.
- Oversee fixed asset management, daily sales reporting, treasury functions, and cash forecasting.
- Support internal controls by documenting processes, evaluating risks, and implementing improvements.
- Assist with tax submissions, statutory reporting, inventory management, audit preparation, and other assigned tasks.
Profile
- Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, or CPA qualification with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in an audit firm.
- Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records, and to detect potential errors or fraud.
- Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Excel; practical experience with HFM (or OneStream) is a plus.
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, with expertise in tax and audit processes.
- Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, willing to work extended hours when necessary without compromising quality.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Financial month-end processes following the United States calendar.
