Job Description
You will be responsible to
- Prepare weekly sales and financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Manage accounts receivable, including customer statements, aged analyses, and follow-ups on outstanding balances
- Oversee stock control, reporting, and slow-moving inventory management
- Maintain and reconcile fixed asset registers, additions, disposals, and physical assets
- Handle general accounting tasks, including vouchers, invoices, ledger analyses, and inter-company reconciliations
- Liaise with external advisers such as bankers and auditors
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate should
- Hold a degree or professional qualification in Accountancy or a related field
- A minimum of 6-7 years of relevant experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, working capital management
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with experience using ERP systems
- Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
