What you'll do:

As an Account Executive based in Shah Alam, you will be entrusted with managing the organisation's complete accounting cycle while also handling payroll functions and day-to-day administrative tasks. Your role will involve preparing detailed financial statements that inform business decisions while ensuring all statutory obligations are met promptly. You will maintain accurate records for both financial transactions and employee matters-ranging from payroll processing to benefits administration-ensuring everything is handled confidentially. In addition to these core responsibilities, you will act as a key point of contact for external stakeholders such as auditors or tax agents. Your ability to organise multiple priorities simultaneously will help keep operations running smoothly. By providing dependable support on various projects or urgent requests from management, you will contribute significantly to the overall efficiency of the team.

  • Manage the full set of accounts including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and bank reconciliations with precision and care.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as well as management reports to ensure accurate financial tracking.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities while assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes to support organisational planning.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax requirements, and statutory regulations by keeping up-to-date records and documentation.
  • Liaise effectively with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and other external parties to facilitate smooth audits and regulatory submissions.
  • Process monthly payroll accurately while ensuring timely submission of statutory contributions such as EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and Income Tax.
  • Maintain comprehensive employee records including attendance tracking, leave management, claims processing, and benefits administration.
  • Handle company licenses, insurance renewals, contracts management, and general office administrative duties efficiently.
  • Oversee vendor payments, staff reimbursements, procurement of office supplies, and ensure all transactions are properly documented.
  • Provide reliable support to management on ad-hoc assignments, special projects, and reporting needs as required.

  • Proficiency in Mandarin speaking, reading and writing is a must
  • Demonstrate at least 2-3 years of hands-on experience managing full sets of accounts along with payroll responsibilities in a similar environment.
  • Show proficiency in using accounting software such as SQL or AutoCount as well as Microsoft Office applications for daily tasks.
  • Display meticulous attention to detail combined with analytical skills that enable you to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders alike through clear written and verbal interactions.
  • Work independently while being reliable in handling sensitive information discreetly with utmost integrity.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities by remaining organised even when managing multiple administrative duties at once.
