Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for month end closing, financial accounting and Group reporting
- Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the accounting ledgers
- Manage and coordinate outsourced processes with Shared Services team
- Drive finance and operational process improvements
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on finance and accounting matters
- Support the annual financial audit and manage the preparation of Financial Statements in line with local GAAP requirements
- Manage tax returns and filings in line with regulatory requirements
- Prepare financial and management analysis and reports as required
- Support the implementation of Group projects
- Assist in the implementation of internal controls
- Perform other ad hoc assignments as required
Job Requirements
- Degree holder in Accounting or relevant discipline
- Minimum 4 years working experience, preferably with both commercial and Big 4 audit experience. Previous working experience in insurance industry is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Good command of English
- Able to work under pressure and a good team player
- Proficiency in MS Office, knowledge of SAP is an advantage
- Candidate with more experience will be considered for the position of Senior Accountant
