Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Petaling Jaya or Elmina. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Day-to-day tasks include managing accounts payable and receivable, performing reconciliations, budgeting, generating financial reports, and providing financial analysis. The role will also involve coordinating with internal teams and stakeholders to manage financial operations effectively.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budget preparation
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Analytical skills and attention to detail for financial analysis and reconciliation tasks
• Effective communication and collaborative skills for teamwork and stakeholder interaction
• Ability to meet deadlines, multitask, and manage time efficiently
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience in software/ IT, logistics or related industries is a plus
