Accountant

Trapeze ASEAN is looking for a hands-on accountant to own the full set of accounts for our Malaysia and Singapore entities. You'll report to the Financial Controller and work across entities and currencies.

What you'll do

• Own the full set of accounts end-to-end, from transactions through to financial statements
• Raise and reconcile intercompany recharges between entities
• Record multi-currency transactions, calculate forex rates manually and perform month-end revaluations
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare monthly management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with variance analysis and commentary
• Support billing, collections, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow monitoring
• Ensure MFRS/IFRS compliance

What you bring

• Degree in Accounting or Finance, or a professional accounting qualification
• 5+ years in commercial or in-house accounting
• Hands-on experience owning a full set of accounts end-to-end
• Hands-on experience with intercompany reconciliations and recharges
• Experience with multi-currency transactions and manual forex calculation
• Strong Excel skills, plus sound judgement on accuracy and deadlines
• Clear communication and a willingness to learn and take feedback

Nice to have: SST/GST experience, ERP experience (NetSuite an advantage), ACCA/CPA/CIMA
