About our client:
Our client is a world-leading company within the Manufacturing industry. Currently, they are looking for Accounting Lead to join their dynamic team, reporting to the Finance Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead statutory audit and accounts activities, ensuring adherence to applicable standards and timelines.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial reports or statements.
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
- Oversee transactions, manage debts, and forecast cash flow.
- Conduct financial audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Track and analyze financial data for insights and performance evaluation.
- Prepare financial reports based on detailed data analysis.
- Serve as the subject matter expert within the GL function, proactively identifying and addressing potential functional challenges.
- Foster a team culture focused on continuous improvement, driving initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and cost-effectiveness.
- Fulfill financial reporting obligations to the headquarters, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting in line with IFRS, lease, and risk assessment requirements.
- Perform quality checks on statutory accounts before their submission to OpCo and auditors, ensuring compliance with IFRS, FRS, MFRS, and MPERS standards.
Key Requirements:
- Min degree, CPA/ACCA/CIMA qualification.
- Min 8-10 years of working experience in Accounting or General Ledger.
- SOX / USGAAP knowledge & experience is highly preferably.
- Strong interpersonal & stakeholder management skills with good business acumen & strategic thinking.
- Highly-motivated, results-oriented, and forward-thinking leader/team player with good work ethic, credibility, and sense of integrity
