Job Description:
The ideal candidate shall:
- Be responsible for the preparation of routine and ad-hoc accounting reports and schedules for our clients and other external parties, including preparation of annual financial statements;
- Assist our clients in tax compliance matters, including preparation of corporate tax computation and submission, as well as GST review and reporting;
- Assume the role of a team leader on accounting and related assignments, to ensure that assignments are planned, executed, documented and completed within agreed timelines and in accordance with relevant professional standards;
- Provide guidance and supervision to junior colleagues;
- Assist in the functions of client portfolio management;
- Ensure all clients needs are met, in regards to prompt response to client queries, build relationship with clients and anticipate requirements;
- Provide clients with recommendations for improvements in processes and controls;
- Participate in sales and marketing activities;
Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy or a professional qualification under ACCA
- Minimum 2-3 years accounting/audit work experience in an accounting firm
- Well versed in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards
- Proactive, committed and a team player
- Possess strong interpersonal skills
- Possess initiative and ability to work independently
- Preferably able to commence work immediately or within short notice
RM4,000 RM6,000 per month
