Job Description

  • Manufacturing company (ISO based)
  • Basic salary up to RM 4800
  • 5 working days
  • Working location: Sime UEP Industrial Park, Seksyen 26 Shah Alam

Job Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for the preparation of full set accounts for a group of companies including submission of financial statements and management reporting on timely basis
  • Responsible for all aspects of accounting functions including GL, CB, AP, AR including accounting data entries
  • Maintain and compile financial reports and statements in a compliance with government regulations and requirements
  • To liaise with professionals including banks, auditors, company secretary & tax agent
  • Ensure transactions are posted in accounting system on a timely and accurate manner
  • Preparation of audit and tax query and supporting documents
  • Assist with financial year-end audit and closing of accounts
  • Monitor the cash flow position of the companies
  • Ensure all payments details and documents are properly checked and filed correctly and ensure that all payments issued are properly authorized
  • Prepare payments vouchers and issue cheque for normal business payment directly related to company's operations. i.e monthly commitments, utilities, supplier and others
  • Conduct invoice activities and pay vendors for delivered material
  • Assis and manage in reconciling all company's account and preparing monthly management accounts, quarterly cash flow reports and annual cash flow budget
  • Alert management on unexpected, abnormal and suspicious transactions that can give rise to possible acts of fraud
  • Any other job functions as directed by management from time to time

Job Requirements :

  • Possess Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • Preferably 2-5 years of experience in Accounting functions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time and stress management, organization and planning
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
