About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our finance team. This role offers valuable exposure to group-level financial reporting and consolidation across a diverse corporate structure. The ideal candidate is hands-on, analytical, and thrives in a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the extraction, compilation, and analysis of financial data, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and other performance metrics for group reporting.
- Work closely with the team to prepare consolidated accounts, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as well as contribute to the preparation of the annual report.
- Monitor and coordinate intercompany transactions and ensure timely reconciliation.
- Assist in preparing management reports and financial presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support corporate tax matters and ensure timely compliance with relevant regulations.
- Manage accounts closing for dormant companies, including the preparation of related reports and statutory documentation.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, banks, and other relevant authorities.
- Handle ad-hoc assignments and financial projects as required by management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent; professional qualifications (ACCA, CIMA, CPA) are highly regarded.
- 24 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, or financial reporting; group accounting experience is an advantage.
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
- Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) is required to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and financial formulas.
- Excellent analytical and organizational abilities, with strong attention to detail.
- A positive work attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
