Accounts Executive (Property Development)

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experiencedAccounts Executiveto join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and accurate management of the Company and/or Group's financial operations. This position requires a detail-oriented, proactive individual capable of handling various accounting functions and reports, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of Company and/or Group accounts
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of B/S, Income Statements, AR & AP ageing reports and other financial reports
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of Monthly report, Audit Report, Annual Report and other Group and Company reports.
• Preparing meeting materials and participate in monthly meeting
• Assist to prepare and monitor group and project budget including budgetary variances
• Preparing and assist on taxation matters
• Preparing SST reports and ensure tax code is applied correctly
• Reviewing all the transactions done by subordinates and ensure subordinates have keyed into system correctly
• Ensure payments are precisely and adhered to payment policy
• Ensure all the reconciliations are prepared timely and accurately
• Ensure sufficient funds for daily payments
• Ensure all the Statutory Deadlines are met to avoid any late payment or submission penalties
• To liaise with both external and internal auditor, lawyer, banker, supplier and etc
• To assist on special assignment or any ad-hoc duties

Skills and Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting / ACCA / CPA / CIMA / ICAEW / MIA or equivalent
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience. Experience in property development industry is an added advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Accounting software
• Able to work in fast pace, multi-tasking and high volume environment
• Good team player, interaction skills, proactive and communication skills
