Responsibilities:
- Manage full sets of accounts, prepare financial statements, track financial performance, and ensure accurate, compliant financial records.
- Coordination in budgeting, forecasting, and expenditure control to support operational and research needs.
- Oversee grant financial management and reporting to funding agencies.
- Assist in preparing for internal and external audits, ensuring all financial records are in order and audits are completed in a timely manner.
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to support management decisions and strategic planning.
Qualification & Work Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent with 3-5 years of working experience in accounting or in similar position, and well verse with MPERS Financial Reporting Standard.
- Knowledge of research-specific financial management systems (e.g., grants management systems) is an advantage.
- Knowledge in accounting software and statutory regulations.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with research teams and stakeholders.
