Job Description

Oversee financial operations, including AP, treasury, assets, inventories, taxes, and compliance reporting.
Prepare monthly financial reports, audits, and tax returns.
Provide financial performance data and analysis to management regularly.
Ensure smooth department operations, including timely management accounts and projections.
Prepare forecasts, budgets, and monitor actual performance.
Handle the company's tax affairs.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and authorities.
Manage cash flow and banking facilities to meet the company's financial needs.
Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and legal requirements.
Prepare specific reports as requested by management.
Coach and mentor subordinates.
Verify claims, approve payments, and manage leave.
Recommend promotions and perform appraisals for confirmation or increments.

Job Requirements

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in financial management and accounting in a computerized environment.
3-5 years of experience in the construction industry.
Proficiency in Mandarin (speaking, reading, and writing) is necessary for interactions with Mandarin-speaking principals.
Strong analytical skills.
Proficient in accounting software (UBS, SQL, MYOB, Globe3 ERP).
Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Must be able to work in Pasir Gudang.
