Position Summary:
AirAsia X is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administration Intern to support the Ground Operations Department. This internship provides hands-on exposure to airport operations, documentation management, workforce coordination, and administrative processes essential for safe, efficient, and compliant ground handling activities.

  • Detail-oriented: Ensures accuracy in documentation, reports, and operational records.

  • Organized: Able to manage multiple files, schedules, logs, and administrative tasks efficiently.

  • Proactive: Takes initiative to support the team, resolve minor issues, and assist operations independently.

  • Team player: Collaborates effectively with ground staff, supervisors, and multiple stakeholders.

  • Professional: Maintains confidentiality, adheres to safety procedures, and represents the airline positively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with general administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, data entry, and document organization.

  • Support the preparation of reports, operational records, and correspondence.

  • Coordinate with internal departments such as Operations, Customer Service, Finance, and HR.

  • Maintain employee schedules and training records.

  • Support the processing of travel documents and operational forms.

  • Assist in managing office supplies, equipment, and inventory.

  • Organize internal meetings, take minutes, and track follow-up actions.

  • Provide support for airline compliance documentation, safety records, and audit preparation.

  • Respond professionally and promptly to emails, phone calls, and internal requests.

  • Perform other administrative or project-based tasks assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Aviation Management, Office Management, or related field.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Able to handle confidential information responsibly.

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn.
