The Admissions Executive Korean Liaison, represents the School to prospective parents, students and other individuals or organizations involved in the School selection process, and in particular with Korean speaking individuals.The role involves providing information, advice, and guidance on the admissions process and requirements; and carrying out various functions and admission duties.
KEY RESULTS AREAS/ RESPONSIBILITIES
- Good communication and relationship are established and maintained with stakeholders such as students, parents, internal and external partners
- Database of leads, applicants and students are managed for enrolment activities and data recording
- Policies and procedures governing the enrolment of students are adhered to and followed through consistently
- Act as an interpreter for families requiring language support
JOB TASKS
- Provide professional advice on the school's curriculum and the admissions process and requirements to prospective families in person, phone, email, and on various communication and social media platforms.
- Manage tours of the School with prospective families
- Ensure data of leads and applications are entered and maintained accurately in database management systems and on various platforms in use
- Record and review and enrolment applications and documents submitted for prospective students to the School
- Organize and manage admissions assessments and interviews
- Ensure assessment outcomes are accurately recorded and shared with relevant team members for review and decision making
- Communicate outcome of applications with families and ensure timely follow-up of offers and acceptances
- Guide and brief new families on relevant information and preparation for admission
- Participate in welcoming new families to the School and assist in the onboarding process
- Achieve set target enrolment numbers consistently
- Plan, execute and represent the School in enrolment activities organized by the School
- Coordinate and work with external partners and agents of the school's Learner Acquisition Team
- Monitor the Korean market, their perception of the School and the competitors, identify shifts in school choices and alert the School when opportunities arise for market development
- Provide statistical reports for periodic reporting and ad-hoc analysis upon request by the Management
- Ensure documentation to relevant governing bodies are submitted and recorded accurately in a timely manner
- In close consultation with the Admissions Manager in executing strategic functions of the department and team
- Act as an interpreter between staff members of the School with parents and students who require language support during meetings, events and occasions
- To assist in the translation of school documents from Korean to English and vice-versa
- Undertake any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Admissions Manager or the Head of Learners Acquisition
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
MINIMUM ACADEMIC / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline.
- Fluent in written and spokenKoreanand English. Knowledge of other languages is an added advantage
RELATED EXPERIENCE
- At least three (3) years of working experience, preferably in an educational institution and/or hospitality industry with involvement in customer relations or the equivalent.

- Strong cross-cultural, interpersonal, communication and writing skills are necessary to present the School in a positive way to diverse nationalities and cultures
- Ability to represent the Admissions role through a strong, student-centered ethic
- Strong knowledge in word processing and spreadsheets and basic familiarity with database software tools
- Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of families and offer appropriate solutions.
- Ability to work effectively both independently as well as part of a team
- Possess an excellent command of English and Korean.
