Education & Experience
- Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related Engineering field.
- Master's degree or AI-specific certifications (e.g., NVIDIA, Google, or Coursera AI Specializations) are a strong plus.
- Professional Experience:
- 35 years of experience in traditional engineering (Firmware, Embedded Systems, or Hardware Design).
- Proven track record of implementing AI tools or automation scripts (Python/APIs) in a professional production environment.
Responsibilities
- AI for Software & Firmware:
- Set up and manage AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor) for C++, C#, and Python.
- Automate VHDL/Verilog coding and verification cycles using AI.
- AI for Hardware & Design:
- Integrate AI auto-routing and generative design into Altium and Autodesk.
- Write Python/API scripts to automate BOM risk checks and part libraries.
- AI Agents & Workflow Automation:
- Build Autonomous Agents (CrewAI/LangChain) to handle technical documents and bug tracking.
- Manage a Multi-Model Strategy (example GPT-4, Claude, Gemini) to ensure the best tool is used for the right task at the lowest cost.
Technical Skills
- Languages: Python, C++, or C# (Required); VHDL/Verilog (Highly Desirable).
- Tools: Altium, Autodesk, MS Visual Studio, and LabVIEW.
- AI Stack: Hands-on experience with OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, and Prompt Engineering.
