AI Business Analyst

We're Hiring: AI Business Analyst!

We are looking for an experienced AI Business Analyst to join our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, combined with expertise in artificial intelligence technologies and business strategy. You will play a key role in driving data-driven decisions that enhance operational efficiency and support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and document current business processes; identify opportunities for AI and Gen AI integration to drive efficiency and automation.
  
  

• Work with business stakeholders to elicit, validate, and document requirements and user stories.
  
  

• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for AI-driven solutions.
  
  

• Partner with data science, engineering, and product teams to shape AI solution design and ensure alignment with business goals.
  
  

• Support POCs, pilots, and rollout of AI/Gen AI initiatives across insurance operations.
  
  

• Facilitate workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and process walkthroughs.
  
  

• Conduct impact assessments, gap analyses, and process redesign where necessary.
  
  

• Support UAT planning, execution, and user readiness for AI or automation-driven implementations.
  
  

• Track AI solution performance post-launch and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 7–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst / Process Analyst.
  
  

• Strong domain knowledge in Insurance(e.g., policy, claims, operations).
  
  

• Practical experience in AI or Gen AI–enabled projects, automation, or digital transformation.
  
  

• Strong capability in mapping, analyzing, and optimizing business processes.
  
  

• Expertise in writing clear and detailed user stories, requirements documents, and process flows.
  
  

• Solid techno-functional understanding; able to work closely with both business and technical teams.
  
  

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  
  

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
  
  

Nice to Have

• Experience with workflow automation, RPA, or low-code/no-code platforms.
  
  

• Exposure to machine learning, NLP, or AI model lifecycle concepts.
  
  

• Certifications such as CBAP, Lean Six Sigma, or Agile Product Owner.
