AI Engineer

Purpose of Job

We are looking for a talented AI Engineer to design and develop AI-driven solutions that enhance business processes, improve efficiency, and support digital innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications and intelligent automation solutions.
• Translate business requirements into scalable AI and machine learning solutions.
• Build, maintain, and optimize AI applications, workflows, and system integrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data processing, system performance, and solution scalability.
• Integrate AI capabilities into existing enterprise systems and business applications.
• Perform testing, validation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of AI models and applications.
• Research and evaluate emerging AI technologies, frameworks, APIs, and industry best practices.
• Prepare technical documentation and communicate project updates to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Ensure AI solutions comply with security, ethical, and governance standards.
• Provide post-deployment support and continuously improve AI applications based on business requirements.

Compliance

• Ensure compliance with all applicable Company and/or Group policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate records and deal with correspondence appropriately

Representing the Company

• Perform any other reasonable duties as required.

Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
• With 1 - 2 years of experience in AI, machine learning, or software development.
• Candidate without relevant experience but with relevant educational background is welcomed to apply for this role.
• Proficiency in Python is essential. Experience with Java, C++, or other programming languages will be an advantage.
• Hands-on exposure to Generative AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Passion for learning new AI technologies and applying them to real-world business challenges.
• Any experience in Insurance field will be added advantage.
