About The Role
We are looking for a talented and innovative
AI Engineer to join our Group Technology team at RHB Banking Group. In this role, you will collaborate with product owners, domain experts, and data teams to design, deploy, and optimize AI solutions that solve complex business problems. You will lead the development and operationalization of AI and generative AI models while ensuring high levels of accuracy, reliability, and compliance with financial industry standards.
What You Will Be Doing
- Collaborate with product owners and domain experts to understand business requirements and tailor AI solutions.
- Work closely with Data Scientists and Cloud Platform teams to deploy AI models seamlessly into production environments.
- Optimize AI systems and models for accuracy, reliability, and performance.
- Engineer system prompts and integrate API calls to generative AI services such as Azure OpenAI and AWS Bedrock.
- Design, develop, train, fine-tune, and validate advanced GenAI models and algorithms to address financial sector challenges.
- Develop end-to-end GenAI project lifecycles, including data preprocessing, model training, deployment, and continuous improvement.
- Perform hyperparameter tuning, algorithm selection, and feature engineering to optimize model performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve AI model and implementation issues.
- Ensure compliance with financial services industry standards, ethical AI practices, and implement AI governance and security safeguards.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for AI models and their applications.
- Research and stay current on advancements in AI technologies and methodologies.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in AI, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 23 years of hands-on experience in AI and machine learning development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and experience with AI frameworks.
- Strong understanding of AI models, machine learning, NLP, deep learning architectures, and statistical models.
- Experience deploying AI models in production on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Expertise in data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, and hyperparameter tuning.
- Experience with prompt engineering and generative AI model integration.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based AI tools like Azure Machine Learning, Azure AI Studio, or AWS SageMaker.
- Knowledge of DevOps/DevSecOps best practices and Agile ways of working.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead, influence, and collaborate effectively with team members.
