Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Support development and implementation of the AI governance framework, policies, and procedures, ensuring the framework and related documents are practical, scalable, and aligned with regulatory expectations.
  • Support quality assurance activities and reviews for Generative AI (GenAI) use cases including model comparison and selection, defining and applying model performance metrics, and setting and reviewing minimum thresholds and best practices.
  • Assist in identifying and quantifying potential risks across the GenAI lifecycle, and work with stakeholders to develop mitigation plans that address operational, regulatory, and reputational considerations.
  • Support development and maintenance of quantitative assessment tools and templates ensuring they remain current with emerging AI governance practices, risk metrics, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide guidance, advisory support, and oversight to business units on AI governance matters, ensuring consistency in application across the organisation.
  • Assist to prepare presentation materials and dashboards for management reporting, governance committees, and internal training sessions to build awareness and capability in responsible AI practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, e.g. Computer Science, Data Science, or Artificial Intelligence with couple experience in AI/ML development, model validation or AI risk or validation functions
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML model evaluation; able to pick up evaluation for GenAI models including on output quality, robustness, and alignment with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with GenAI development would be highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with major cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS) and their GenAI-related services.
  • Knowledge of open-source AI/ML tools and libraries such as Hugging Face; hands-on experience would be preferred.
  • Analytical thinking with high attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to convey quantitative results to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with a high level of initiative and strong work ethic.
  • Prior experience in financial services industry preferred.
