The AI Research & Synthesis Specialist is a cross-functional role responsible for leveraging advanced Generative AI capabilities to drive strategic planning, knowledge synthesis, insights creation, and real-time decision support. This position requires an individual who can clearly articulate complex information needs, manage a diverse portfolio of inquiries, and integrate AI-generated output into actionable real-world results. This is a hybrid role based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Key Responsibilities1. Information Synthesis & Analysis- Rapid Research & Curation: Formulate high-precision queries to extract, compare, and synthesize data from vast internal and external knowledge bases (e.g., search, drive, third-party file uploads) on diverse topics ranging from technical subjects (e.g., complex mathematics, physics, computing) to general knowledge (e.g., current events, history).
- Problem-Solving and Logic: Present complex, multi-step problems and logical constraints to the AI to derive structured, accurate, and contextually relevant solutions.
- Pattern Recognition: Analyze and utilize historical conversation data to refine current requests, ensuring continuity and personalization in all interactions.
2. Research and Insights Development- Report Generation: Generate high-quality text for a variety of purposes, including professional insights (e.g., industry reports, market research) and structured data (e.g., tables, lists).
- Drafting and Editing: Provide preliminary drafts for correspondence, reports, and other written materials, followed by clear instructions and recommendations for editing, refining, and adjusting tone/style.
- Formatting and Presentation: Require and integrate advanced formatting tools, including Markdown, to ensure technical accuracy and high readability of output.
3. Planning and Organizational Support- Task Management: Utilize scheduling and organizational tools (e.g., task management softwares such as Asana) to manage and prioritise critical events and task lists.
Required Skills and Qualifications- 1-2 years of professional experience (Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply)
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- Exceptional Communication: Proven ability to articulate complex thoughts and specific needs in clear, concise language (text-based).
- Technical Fluency: Familiarity with LLM concepts such as prompt engineering, embeddings, MCP, A2A etc. is highly advantageous.
- Adaptability and Curiosity: A highly curious and flexible mindset, comfortable pivoting between diverse, unrelated subjects frequently throughout the day.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to critically review AI-generated information for accuracy, bias, and context, providing precise feedback and recommendations for refinement.
- Collaboration: Able to navigate communication needs across cross-functional teams to act and offer guidance to others.
