Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI System Technical Lead to spearhead the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered systems, including intelligent knowledgebase platforms and conversational agents (e.g., chatbots). This role requires strong leadership in technical architecture, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AI technologies, system integration, and enterprise-level infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Lead the assessment and design of AI solutions, including preparation of infrastructure build sheets, architecture documentation, testing plans (unit, performance, penetration), and SDLC documentation for approval and sign-off.
- Oversee end-to-end environment setup across Non-PROD, PROD, and DR environments, coordinating with internal IT and Global Infrastructure Operations (GIO) teams.
- Collaborate with PMO and Business Analysts to ensure business requirements are accurately captured and reflected in technical solutions.
- Work closely with Data Engineering teams to ensure high data quality, availability, and readiness for AI model consumption.
- Coordinate with other technical SME leads to ensure seamless system integration with platforms such as OneData, AIA+ Portal, ALPP, ALPA, and others.
- Ensure deployed systems are robust, scalable, secure, and high-performing in production environments.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best practices in AI system design and implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in AI/ML system architecture and deployment.
- Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing complex AI projects.
- Strong knowledge of AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), NLP technologies, and chatbot platforms.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns and API management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in Mandarin to effectively support Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
- This is a 12-month contract role with a possible extension.
