Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an AI Training Sales Executive based in Shah Alam, with the flexibility to work remotely on occasion. The responsibilities include identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing sales processes, building and nurturing client relationships, and delivering customized AI training solutions to meet clients needs. The role also involves working closely with technical teams to understand product capabilities and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the service lifecycle.

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Identify, approach, and engage corporate clients for AI, automation, data, and digital skills training
  • Promote public programs, in-house training, and customized workshops
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand client needs and propose suitable learning solutions
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and follow up on leads until closure

2. Client & Partner Engagement

  • Build relationships with HR, L&D, People, IT, and business leaders
  • Maintain long-term client relationships and encourage repeat business
  • Coordinate with trainers, partners, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery

3. Lead Generation & Pipeline Management

  • Follow up on leads from LinkedIn, EDMs, events, referrals, and campaigns
  • Proactively source new leads via networking, outreach, and referrals
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline and activity tracking

4. HRDCorp & Program Support

  • Explain HRDCorp claimability and funding structure to clients
  • Work closely with the team on registration, confirmation, and documentation
  • Support post-training follow-ups and feedback collection

5. Market & Product Awareness

  • Stay updated on AI, automation, and digital skills trends
  • Understand academy offerings well enough to position programs confidently
  • Share market feedback to improve programs, pricing, and positioning

Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree in Business, Marketing, HR, IT, or related fields
  • At least 1 year of experience in sales, business development, training, HR services, SaaS, or consulting (fresh grads with strong attitude are welcome)
  • Comfortable speaking with corporate decision-makers
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented
  • Interest in AI, automation, technology, or learning & development is a big plus
