AI Transformation Lead

About the Role:

LACMED Group is looking for a dynamic, innovative and hands-on AI Transformation Lead to drive business process improvement and operational efficiency across the organization.

The successful candidate will work closely with different departments to review existing business processes, identify inefficiencies and implement practical solutions leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI), AI agents, intelligent automation and digital technologies.

The primary objective is to reduce repetitive and manual work, simplify internal processes, increase employee productivity and enable our teams to focus on higher-value activities.

This is a hands-on transformation role. We are looking for someone who can go beyond identifying opportunities to designing, developing, implementing and continuously improving AI-powered solutions that deliver measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Process Review & Optimization

• Review and analyze existing workflows across Sales, Operations, Finance, Procurement, Logistics, HR, Project Management and Service departments.
• Identify repetitive tasks, inefficient processes, manual data entry, duplicated activities and workflow bottlenecks.
• Work closely with department heads and employees to understand operational challenges and identify improvement opportunities.
• Redesign and simplify business processes before introducing automation.
• Prioritize initiatives based on potential productivity improvements, cost savings and ease of implementation.

2. AI Agents & Intelligent Automation

• Design, develop and deploy AI agents and automation solutions to streamline daily business operations.
• Automate repetitive activities such as data entry, document processing, reporting, email handling, task coordination and information retrieval.
• Build AI-powered workflows that integrate multiple systems and applications.
• Develop internal AI assistants to support employees in their daily activities.
• Explore and implement AI tools and automation platforms such as OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, n8n, Make, Power Automate, or equivalent technologies.
• Evaluate and introduce new AI technologies that can deliver practical business value.

3. System Integration & Digital Workflow Improvement

• Identify opportunities to connect and automate workflows across existing business applications, including CRM, ERP, accounting, inventory and project management systems.
• Develop API integrations, low-code/no-code automation and lightweight custom applications where appropriate.
• Minimize dependence on manual data transfers, spreadsheets, repetitive emails and duplicated data entry.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams and external technology providers to implement solutions.

4. Productivity Improvement & Performance Measurement

• Establish baseline measurements for manual effort, processing time and productivity before implementing solutions.
• Track and report measurable improvements in man-hours saved, processing time, error reduction and operational cost.
• Develop dashboards to monitor automation performance and adoption.
• Continuously improve implemented solutions based on user feedback and operational results.

5. AI Adoption & Change Management

• Work with department heads to promote AI adoption and continuous improvement.
• Train employees on the effective use of AI tools and automated workflows.
• Develop practical AI usage guidelines, training materials and standard operating procedures.
• Promote a culture of innovation, digital thinking and operational efficiency.

6. AI Governance & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure automation solutions follow appropriate data security, privacy and access control requirements.
• Implement appropriate human approval checkpoints for sensitive or business-critical activities.
• Maintain documentation and monitor the reliability of deployed AI agents.
• Identify new opportunities to scale successful solutions across the LACMED Group.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems or related disciplines.
• Preferably 3–7 years of relevant experience in business process improvement, AI automation, digital transformation or software/system integration.
• Proven hands-on experience in developing workflow automation, AI agents or AI-powered business applications.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM technologies, APIs and automation platforms such as n8n, Make, Microsoft Power Automate or equivalent.
• Good understanding of business operations and the ability to translate operational challenges into practical technical solutions.
• Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, SQL or other relevant programming languages would be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and project implementation skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-driven, resourceful and comfortable working independently with different departments.
• Experience in healthcare, medical devices, distribution, supply chain or service operations would be an added advantage.
