Job Description
Job Summary
Responsible for managing day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, dispatch, and maintaining warehouse safety and housekeeping standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Perform unloading, checking, counting, labeling, and proper storage of materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts/cycle counts.
- Handle picking, packing, and staging of orders for dispatch.
- Coordinate with logistics, purchasing, sales, and other departments for smooth warehouse operations.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO principles are followed where applicable.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and follow company safety procedures.
- Monitor stock discrepancies, damages, shortages, and excess inventory and report them promptly.
- Maintain proper warehouse organization, cleanliness, and housekeeping.
- Update warehouse transactions in ERP/WMS systems and maintain required documentation.
- Support stock audits and investigate inventory variances.
- Ensure goods are stored securely and efficiently to maximize warehouse space.
- Follow company policies, SOPs, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements.
Requirements
- Diploma/degree or relevant warehouse/logistics experience.
- 1–3 years of warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
- Basic computer and inventory-system knowledge.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physically fit and able to handle warehouse activities.
- Forklift/equipment certification is an advantage where applicable.

Customer-Specific Cargo Handling – Dedicated Accounts
- Perform cargo scanning, planning, and palletizing activities specifically for two designated/dedicated customers.
- Plan and organize cargo based on airline allocation, flight schedule, destination, cargo volume, weight, and operational requirements for the assigned customers.
- Ensure cargo is scanned accurately and matched against the relevant shipment and airline allocation details.
- Arrange and consolidate cargo for palletizing/build-up according to the allocated airline and flight.
- Ensure pallets are built accurately, safely, and efficiently while maximizing available pallet capacity.
- Coordinate with relevant internal teams and airline/ground handling parties to ensure cargo is ready within the required cut-off time.
- Monitor cargo from scanning through palletizing and final dispatch, ensuring all cargo is properly accounted for.
- Identify and report any discrepancies in cargo quantity, weight, scanning records, airline allocation, or pallet build-up.
- Maintain accurate records and system updates for all cargo handled under these two dedicated customer accounts.
- Follow all applicable warehouse, cargo handling, safety, security, and customer-specific SOPs.
