Alipay+ is a global payment system aiming at collaborating with wallets, acquirers, and other payment systems to jointly enable interoperable and digital payment experiences for worldwide users and merchants. Alipay+ services include transaction processing, clearing and fund settlement, under unified commercial, product, settlement, fx, dispute and risk management rules for wallets and acquirers based in different countries.
As a member of the Alipay+ Policy Center, you'll be leveraging your payment industry expertise to shape the governance policy of Alipay+ network. This includes rules workshops/consultations for external customers, business request analysis/rules deviation approvals with internal stakeholder teams, as well as rulebook and policy design for new payment products.
What you'll do:
- Rules support for business projects: Serve as a subject matter expert for new and existing business projects. You'll respond to inquiries from business teams and other functional groups, providing critical advice and interpretation of Alipay+ network rules during contract negotiations and daily operations. You may also be required to provide rules training workshops or compile training materials for business teams and external customers.
- Manage the Alipay+ Rule Book: Support senior management business strategies or business teams requests via rules design. This requires research on industry common practices and standards, discussion with product or operation teams, business model and rights/obligations design, rules documents drafting, and work with legal/compliance teams for rules release to external customers.
- By joining a team of payment experts and having insipring discussions about innovative payment initiatives, you'll gain a unique, high-level perspective on the cross-border payments industry. You'll be involved in the frontline strategic projects at Alipay+, a leading innovator in global payment interoperability.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of working experience
- Payment exposure: candidates with exposure to business trends and common concepts in payment industry, preferrably with knowhow in payment processing flows and innovative solution/project implementations
- Language: English is the primary working language, and Chinese reading is a must (Chinese listening/speaking is preferred; writing not essential)
