The Opportunity: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Alternate Channel Business Development Manager to join our team in Malaysia. This role focuses on the hospital business, alternate business channels, and business development. If you have a proven track record in developing new business opportunities, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the hospital sector and alternate business channels in Malaysia.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business growth.
- Lead distributor operations and manage a high-performing field force sales team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including hospital administrators, healthcare professionals, and potential business partners.
- Analyse market trends and identify potential areas for expansion.
- Collaborate with Marketing & Commercial organizations to develop and introduce new products and services tailored to the hospital market and alternate channels.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and partners to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
- Monitor and report on the performance of new business initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, with a focus on the healthcare sector.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful business strategies.
- Strong understanding of the hospital business and alternate business channels.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel nationwide.
