Analyst, Procurement Centre of Excellence (CoE) supports the development, implementation and continuous improvement of procurement policies, processes, systems, governance frameworks and performance management across the organization. The role is responsible for driving procurement excellence, enhancing compliance, supporting digitalization initiatives, and providing data-driven insights to improve procurement performance and value delivery.

Responsibilities

Procurement Governance & Compliance

  • Support the implementation and continuous enhancement of procurement policies, procedures and governance frameworks;
  • Monitor compliance with procurement policies, delegated authority limits and regulatory requirements;
  • Conduct procurement compliance reviews and identify opportunities for process improvement;
  • Assist in maintaining procurement documentation, templates, guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs);
  • Support internal and external audit requirements related to procurement activities.

Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive initiatives to standardize procurement processes and improve operational efficiency;
  • Identify process gaps, bottlenecks and control weaknesses and recommend improvement measures;
  • Support the implementation of procurement best practices and continuous improvement program;
  • Participate in cross-functional projects related to procurement transformation and operational excellence.

Procurement Analytics & Reporting

  • Develop and maintain procurement performance dashboards and reports;
  • Monitor key procurement KPIs, savings performance, compliance metrics and supplier performance indicators;
  • Analyze procurement spend data and provide actionable insights to management;
  • Support category management and sourcing teams through spend analysis and market intelligence.

Digitalization & Systems Support

  • Support the implementation, enhancement and optimization of procurement systems and digital tools;
  • Act as a focal point for procurement system-related issues, user support and process improvements;
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to improve procurement workflows and automation initiatives;
  • Ensure data integrity and governance within procurement systems.

Knowledge Management & Capability Development

  • Maintain procurement knowledge repositories, templates and training materials;
  • Support capability development initiatives and procurement training programs;
  • Facilitate communication and awareness of procurement policies and best practices across the organization;
  • Promote a culture of procurement excellence and continuous learning.

Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with Procurement, Finance, Legal, Risk, Internal Audit and business stakeholders;
  • Support change management activities related to procurement process improvements and digital transformation;
  • Build effective working relationships to drive adoption of procurement best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or a related discipline;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Procurement Excellence, Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, or Business Analytics;
  • Experience in procurement governance, policy management, process improvement, procurement systems, spend analytics, reporting, risk management and compliance, with working knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Excel;
  • Experience working with ERP, procurement platforms and digital procurement tools such as SAP, Oracle, Ariba, Coupa or Ivalua is preferred;
  • Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, Lean Six Sigma, PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent credentials will be an added advantage;
  • Strong technical knowledge in procurement governance and policy management, spend analytics and reporting, procurement systems and digital tools, data analysis and visualization using Power BI, Tableau or Excel, process improvement methodologies, risk management and compliance;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, effective communication and presentation skills, and the ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders across functions;
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with the adaptability and continuous learning mindset needed to support evolving procurement priorities and transformation initiatives.
