Job Summary:

  • The Kinaxis Demand and Supply Planning Sr. Business Analyst will serve as a key liaison between IT, business stakeholders, and project teams to support the successful implementation of Kinaxis RapidResponse for demand and supply planning. This role will help shape the design, configuration, and optimization of these platforms to meet the needs of UCT's global manufacturing footprint. Hands-on experience in configuring Kinaxis RapidResponse will be key for the candidate's success in this role. The candidate will focus on ensuring that business processes are efficiently translated into system requirements, aligned with company-wide planning and supply chain strategies. The candidate will also ensure that both platforms are effectively integrated with SAP S4 HANA, SAP BW/BI, and Databricks on AWS & S3.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture and Design

  • Co-develop with business partners the end-to-end architecture of Kinaxis RapidResponse to align with the organization's supply chain strategy and business goals, ensuring seamless planning & forecast architecture across all relevant platforms including SAP
  • Configure and Manage on an ongoing basis inbound and outbound data integration primarily with SAP S4 HANA (inbound/outbound) and Reporting platforms (Databricks, PowerBI inbound/outbound)

Program Implementation

  • Lead the requirements gathering process for the Kinaxis RapidResponse demand and supply planning solution by collaborating closely with key stakeholders in supply chain, IT, and manufacturing.
  • Function as the subject matter expert (SME) on Kinaxis RapidResponse demand and supply planning processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and configure the Kinaxis solution, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Collaborate with System Integrators, external consultants, and Kinaxis Services team.
  • Configures Kinaxis Supply/Demand Planning, ensuring that the solution is delivered to requirements, and to agreed quality standards through thorough and well documented test plans
  • Design & implement integration of with existing systems, primarily SAP
  • Partner with project team to ultimately roll out the global design across geographies and Business units. Be the solution lead for the global rollout from IT side.
  • Provide guidance to the project team and oversight of external consultants.

Business Analysis & Process Improvement

  • Analyze current business processes related to demand and supply planning and show areas of improvement.
  • Document functional requirements, process flows, and gap analysis to support system configuration and enhancements.
  • Propose best practices for using the Kinaxis platform to improve forecasting, demand planning, and supply chain management.

Technical Leadership and Guidance

  • Provide Kinaxis technical leadership and guidance to the entire UCT project team which includes internal IT team.
  • Ensure best practices in architecture, development, and deployment are followed, promoting consistency and efficiency across program.

Documentation and Compliance

  • Develop and keep comprehensive architectural documentation, including system designs, integration plans, and best practices.
  • Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in the architecture, ensuring that the solutions are still agile and responsive to business changes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback on the solutions and show areas for future enhancements.

Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A master's degree or an APICs certification will be a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in supporting, implementing, and rolling out Kinaxis Rapid Response planning solution, with at least 3 years in a SME / architecture role in a complex, global high-tech manufacturing environment.
  • A history of successfully implementing Kinaxis Supply / Demand Planning solution, with minimum 2 end-to-end implementations completed and Business As Usual (BAU) experience supporting post go-live
  • Strong background in supply chain management processes, with a deep understanding of how they relate to technology solutions.

Technical Skills:

  • Hands on configuration expertise in Kinaxis Supply / Demand Planning, including experience with its configuration, customization, and integration capabilities.
  • SAP integration experience strongly preferred

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering practical, scalable solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, working effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
