Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Android Developer with 35 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Android application development and a solid understanding of Android frameworks, architecture patterns, and best practices. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Android applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and performance issues.
- Continuously stay updated with the latest Android technologies, tools, and trends.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on Android development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Kotlin/Java, UI frameworks, and development tools.
- Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and SDKs.
- Familiarity with Android Jetpack components (LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation, etc.).
- Good understanding of mobile performance optimization and debugging techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
- Published Android applications or experience maintaining large-scale production apps.
