Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Ansible Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise automation solutions across Windows and Linux environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Ansible Automation Platform, infrastructure automation, ServiceNow integration, Event-Driven Automation (EDA), and scripting technologies. This role will focus on improving operational efficiency, standardization, scalability, and compliance through automation and orchestration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Ansible Playbooks, Roles, Collections, Templates, Inventories, and Automation Controller (AWX/Tower) workflows.
• Automate Windows and Linux server provisioning, configuration management, patching, user administration, and operational tasks.
• Develop automated solutions for OS installation, server builds, security hardening, compliance enforcement, and infrastructure standardization.
• Integrate Ansible workflows with ServiceNow to automate Incident, Change, Service Request, and CMDB processes.
• Build and maintain Event-Driven Automation (EDA) solutions triggered by infrastructure events, alerts, and operational incidents.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, and Python to support orchestration and infrastructure operations.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, and Operations teams to identify automation opportunities and improve service delivery.
• Implement automation standards, testing practices, documentation, and version control processes using Git.
• Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives for enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Ensure automation solutions align with security, compliance, and operational best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Ansible Automation Platform, including Playbooks, Roles, Collections, Templates, Inventories, and Automation Controller/Tower.
• 4+ years of experience automating Windows Server administration, provisioning, configuration management, patching, and operational tasks.
• 4+ years of experience automating Linux server administration and infrastructure operations.
• 3+ years of experience in infrastructure installation, server build automation, OS deployment, security hardening, and compliance implementation.
• 2+ years of experience integrating automation platforms with ServiceNow using APIs and workflow automation.
• 2+ years of experience implementing Event-Driven Automation (EDA).
• 3+ years of scripting experience using PowerShell, Bash, and/or Python.
• 5+ years of overall infrastructure and systems administration experience across enterprise Windows and Linux environments.
• Experience with Git, version control, testing methodologies, and automation best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation or RHCE certification.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, OCI, or VMware.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to enterprise ITSM, DevOps, and Infrastructure Operations environments.
• Experience supporting large-scale production environments within Banking, Financial Services, or other regulated industries.
