Job Description

Design, develop, and maintain automation using Ansible
Build reusable playbooks, roles, and modules
Automate server provisioning, configuration, and patching
Manage deployments across environments:
SIT → UAT → Staging → PROD
Integrate automation with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI
Maintain and manage Ansible inventory and environment variables
Troubleshoot failed automation jobs and deployment issues
Collaborate with developers, QA, and infrastructure teams
Ensure systems follow security and compliance standards

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Ansible
Good knowledge of Linux administration
Experience with:
Shell scripting (Bash)
YAML
Understanding of networking basics (IP, DNS, firewall)
Familiar with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins)
Experience with version control like Git
Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform
Container tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
Write a playbook to install and configure Nginx on 50 servers
Deploy a new application version to UAT using automation
Patch all PROD servers with security updates
Fix a failed deployment pipeline
Update inventory for new servers
