ROLE PURPOSE
- A strategic and operational role in guiding the development of innovative digital products from concept to launch and beyond. Leveraging on a deep understanding of agile project management, UIUX, design thinking with ability to capture comprehensive business requirements and cross-functional leadership, the Specialist acts as the bridge between stakeholders and the technical development team, delivering value to the business through the innovative digital product. Advocates the product vision and roadmap for digital products in the portfolio. FLE manages small to medium sized products or a defined part of a larger product.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop innovation projects from idea generation to launch subsequent iterations, ensuring tasks are completed on time, well documented and meet objectives. An experienced FLE may be managing innovation projects.
- Capture business and technical requirements via user stories, agile project management, user experience articulation.
- Assist with cross functional collaboration.
- Research on new technologies and possible use case to drive successful innovation initiatives.
- Independently manage products or taking ownership of specific modules of a large product.
- A more experienced FLE is expected to collaborate effectively with UX Designers, technologists, software engineers and architects, whilst championing user experience.
- A more experienced FLE is expected to utilise basic technical knowledge of web technologies, APIs, LLMs, and machine learning to understand project scope and challenges.
- Assist to plan external communication about the value of the product, and articulate product differentiation to increase adoption rate. Expected to help users in adopting and using the product as intended.
- Assist to drive (or to drive) product vision and demonstrates agile and design thinking methodologies.
- Assist to manage (or to manage) the backlog of product requirements.
Qualifications
Academic Qualifications: Degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer
Science or equivalent.
License / Certification: Certifications in Agile, Scrum, DevOps, UX Design.
Experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years working experience as a digital product development, product owner, scrum master or technologist.
- Experienced in articulating project strategy or product design decisions.
- Experienced in digital innovation and transformation area.
