Anti-Money Laundering Analyst

AML KYC Analyst - Contract Position

We are seeking an AML KYC Analyst to support a financial services client engagement. This role will be deployed within a high-volume AML operations environment, providing first-line screening, investigation support, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards while relieving pressure on internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform first-level review and clearance of name scree and investigation support, ensuring regulatory compliance, and raising alerts (sanctions, PEP, adverse news)
• Escalate potential true matches to Compliance for further investigation
• Support preparation of RFIs, investigation reports, and suspicious transaction reports
• Assist in quality assurance checks and sampling reviews
• Deliver accurate outputs within agreed SLAs and quality benchmarks

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline (AML certification advantageous)
• AML/KYC experience within financial services
• Understanding of sanctions, PEP, and adverse media screening
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in fast-paced environments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and exposure to AI tools is advantageous
